ReplyKit is a Chrome extension that helps users save and reuse professional response templates. This privacy policy explains how ReplyKit handles user data.

Data Collection

ReplyKit does not collect, transmit, store, or share any user data on external servers. All data created and used by ReplyKit—including snippets, folders, variable defaults, and preferences—is stored locally on the user's device using Chrome's local storage API (chrome.storage.local).

Data Transmission

ReplyKit makes zero network requests. The extension contains no analytics, telemetry, or external API calls. No data ever leaves your browser.

Data Sharing

Because no data is collected or transmitted, no data is shared with any third parties.

User Control

Users have full control over their data:

• All data is stored on the user's own device
• Users can export their data as JSON at any time
• Users can delete all data through the extension's "Reset extension data" feature
• Uninstalling the extension removes all associated data

Permissions

ReplyKit requests the following Chrome permissions, all used for the core functionality of the extension:

• storage: To save snippets and preferences locally on your device
• clipboardWrite: To copy snippet text to your clipboard when you click Copy
• sidePanel: To open ReplyKit as a Chrome side panel when you select that option
